James has worked with some of the most famous sports figures along with contributing his painting skills to charities and fundraisers. As the youngest artist inducted into the prestigious New York Society of Illustrators in 1998, James continues to prove his achievements as a highly regarded illustrator and painter.

Funny Cide - Kentucky Derby

James was recently asked to create artwork for Funny Cide, winner of the 2003 Kentucky Derby.

Alfonso Soriano Giclee
September, 2003
James' latest project involves Yankee second baseman Alfonso Soriano. James released a limited edition of 33 giclees on canvas (16" x 20") with 12 artist's proofs. Each giclee comes autographed by Soriano and Fiorentino. Anyone who purchases a giclee will be invited to an evening with Soriano and James on September 25 at the Staten Island Hilton. You will have an opportunity to have your picture taken with the All Star Yankee. Funny Cide - Kentucky Derby
August, 2003
James presented the owners of Funny Cide an original of their Kentucky Derby champion. James was commissioned by The Center For The Disabled, Albany, N.Y. to create the original and 100 giclees to be sold at the event. All proceeds go to charity and their is a limited quantity available.

James has created the cover program art and litho again for the third consecutive year. This year's inductees include Ted Williams, Pete Rose, Tony Gwynn, Dom DiMaggio and Wade Boggs. Giclees and posters are also available.
