James has been commissioned by TracerCode, official autograph provider, for the National Sports Convention, toTracerCode create an original painting celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the 1964 Cleveland Browns Championship team. The original, which will depict 24 players, will be made into limited edition giclees and lithos. Also, 500 posters will be Cleveland Brownsgiven out to the first 500 attendees of the National. These giclees and lithos will available to purchase and have signed by every player.

For the second straight year, James was commissioned by The Center for the Disabled in Albany, NY to present Mary Lou Whitney an original painting of her horse Birdstone winning the Belmont Stakes over Smarty Jones this year. Birdstone has been made into limited edition giclees (16" x 20") limited to 200.

2004 Drew University Young Alumni Award

James has been chosen by his peers in the College/Alumni/ae Association as the 2003-04 recipient of the College Alumni/ae Association's Young Alumni/ae Achievement Award. Given to alumni/ae who have graduated from Drew within the past ten years and have demonstrated Tom Keansuccess in their chosen field as well as outstanding character and loyalty to Drew, this prestigious award has been presented to distinguished Alumni/ae since 1991. There will be an awards ceremony held on Saturday of Reunion and also a private reception.

Ted Williams' Museum

Once again James has been asked to paint the official artwork for the 2004 Ted Williams Museum Induction. This years inductees included Monti Irvin and Rod Carew. James also painted a portrait of Rocco Baldelli, winner of the Ted Williams American League Rookie Hitter award.
