John Basilone Parade

The John Basilone Parade which is held every year in Raritan NJ is the only WWII parade held for an individual in the United States. Raritan, NJ is the hometown of John Basilone who was a WWII hero in Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima (HBO's miniseries the Pacific showcased Basilone). A marine who was awarded the Medal of Honor and Navy Cross died in battle at the age of 29. The Plainfield Unico chapter of NJ and James donated the original painting of Basilone to the New Jersey Hall of Fame where it will be in their permanent collection. There were several reproductions that were made that James also presented to the Basilone Family.

Mariano Rivera - Bronx, NY

October, 2011

James was commissioned by Latino Sports for the fourth time to paint Mariano Rivera who was awarded the 2010 latino Sports MVP-A.L Relief Pitcher of the Year. The original was also made into limited edition giclees that were signed by Mariano.

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

January, 2012

James Fiorentino teamed up with Wolverine himself...Hugh Jackman, to create these limited edition giclees to raise money for the Fox Foundation. Mike Costa (a friend of the artist and Hugh) created the project. For more information on the giclees please contact Visionary Art Inc.

Cake Boss - Carlos Bakery

Bergino Baseball Clubhouse Show - Fall 2011

Here are some images of the outstanding cake that was made for James's show by the world famous Carlos Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey. James's opening was a huge hit and had this cake shows James painting many of the players that were exhibited in his show which included Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Derek Jeter just to name a few.

The 36" x 36" was a masterpiece in design and taste which was a hit to James' friends, family and clients. James said, "This had to be one of the coolest things ever made for me and it was surreal to have a cake made by Carlos as I am a huge fan of the show. A special thanks has to go out to Mauro Castano."
