Baseball Music Project
April 2007 - James was commisoned by Circle City Sports (www.circlecitysports.com) to create an original painting to be presented to Dave Winfield . “The Baseball Music Project” is a musical celebration of the history of America’s pastime...a night where a theater is turned into a field of dreams! This national touring show, sanctioned by the Baseball Hall of Fame, will be performing at the Pike Performing Arts Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. This ONE NIGHT ONLY show is on Sat. April 14 at 8pm. Hosted by Dave Winfield, this concert features the Indy Pops Orchestra. Rutgers Football - 2006
April 18, 2007 - The Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders commissioned James to create this collage of the 2006 Scarlet Knights football season. To honor the teams achievements the Institute will be having a dinner which will include some of the Rutgers coaching staff and players. The original will be autographed by some members of the 2006 team and auctioned off at the dinner. Also included will be twenty five 16 x 20 giclees to be sold at the dinner.
