Trading Cards Gallery


James has created for some of the most iconic trading card brands including Topps, Upper Deck and Kellogg’s. James’ mentor as a young artist was the legendary artist Gerry Dvorak who created many of the original 1953 Topps cards. Following his his footsteps,  James would later create ten insert cards for the 1999 Topps Gallery Heritage set in the 1953 format. In 2001 James would create over seventy paintings for the Upper Deck brand in every major sport which would be called “The Fiorentino Collection”  The basketball cards along with the original art was displayed at the National Basketball Hall of Fame and James and Hall of Famer Julius Erving participated in a meet and greet with fans. Following up the success of the Fiorentino Collection, James was again asked by Upper Deck in 2003 to paint for the PlayBall set.  James ’s latest series of cards was painted for the Kelloggs brand in which the cards were autographed by legendary players depicting every major sport. The cards were found in many of their products.
